Salary Range: $60,000-75,000

As a Motion Graphics Designer at Essense Partners, you do more than bring graphics to life. You will use your strong creative background to deliver strategic marketing and technology solutions that help lead market transformation for some of the most iconic utilities and energy services providers in the US.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a blend of nerdy and creative skillsets, applying these unique traits to design and develop graphics solutions for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizes, designs, develops and executes 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
  • Utilizes sketches, storyboards and animatics to develop concepts.
  • Creates complex graphics, animation, and video content.
  • Works with UI designers and developers to integrate graphics into the overall design of projects.
  • Conceives, designs, and executes motion graphics, special effects, animation, or other visual images
  • Collaborates with the creative team and design team to understand customer’s goals/needs and develops effective solutions that meet those needs.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends, techniques, and best practices for motion graphic effects and video content.

Skills/Requirements

  • Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (After Effects, Adobe Suite products such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Media Encoder, Audition, etc.)
  • Ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (web, mobile, and more)
  • Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines
  • Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
  • Self-directed, highly-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work on virtual teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or another relevant field
  • Some experience (whether direct job experience or internship experience) as a motion graphic designer is preferred, but not required
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
